The Dallas Cowboys were the most disappointing team in the entire NFL offseason.
Thus, it hasn’t been much of a surprise to see that they haven’t fared all that well to start the year, either.
They’re 1-2 and their strong start vs. the Cleveland Browns looks more like a fluke than anything else.
Moreover, former NFL player Emmanuel Acho believes their season is over already.
In Monday’s edition of The Facility, Acho explained why he thinks that there’s no coming back for Mike McCarthy’s team, and he made a pretty compelling argument.
“The Cowboys season is OVER.” 👀

For starters, the Cowboys cannot stop the run, and there aren’t enough or good enough free agents at the defensive tackle position to solve that issue.
On the other hand, they can’t run the football at all — which was far from a surprise after they lost Tony Pollard and replaced him with Ezekiel Elliott.
Likewise, there aren’t enough free agents to put together an explosive running game.
And to make things worse, the Cowboys’ offense isn’t proficient enough to make up for their defensive woes, so they can’t keep the other team’s offense off the field.
That creates a never-ending cycle of the other team running the football at will against them.
Wash, rinse, and repeat.
This shouldn’t be much of a surprise, and this team’s failure is just a reflection of the upper management’s decision-making.
