The attacks started on the night of Friday.
– Throughout the evening and night, the terrorists attacked our cities and communities. Rockets, drones and glide bombs were sent against Odesa, Kharkiv and the Kyiv area, President Volodymyr Zelenskyj said on social media.
114 attacks have been registered in eastern Ukraine on Friday, according to Ukraine’s military leadership.
– The enemy is using all available forces and means to achieve their goals, says a statement.
The main force of the attacks in the east of the country was aimed at the regions of Pokrovsk and Kurakhove west of Donetsk.
According to a statement from the Ukrainian Air Force earlier Friday, Russia fired five missiles and 92 drones at the country. The Ukrainians managed to shoot down four of the rockets and 62 drones, according to a press release.
The authorities in Zaporizhzhya state that the death toll after an attack on Thursday has risen to ten, among them an infant, the child’s mother and grandmother.
In Kharkiv, at least 25 people were injured in attacks around the city and surrounding area. The Russians have recently stepped up nightly attacks on the city.
In Odesa, one person was killed and nine wounded in attacks on residential buildings, and in the Kyiv area four people were killed. Also in Kherson, a man was killed in a Russian attack.
