Azerbaijan denied Armenia’s allegations that it targeted civilian objects

BAKU – Armenia’s reports about the alleged firing of the Azerbaijani army at civilian objects are disinformation, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announced today, stating that the Azerbaijani units “attack only legitimate military targets”.

“Information spreading on some Armenian social networks about the targeting of civilian objects by Azerbaijani units is provocation and misinformation,” said the head of the press service of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Anar Eyvazov, at a media briefing, the Azerbaijani state agency AZERTAC reported.

He noted that the purpose here is to damage the reputation of the Azerbaijani army and create a wrong image of local anti-terrorist measures in the international community, reports Tanjug.

“From the videos we posted on the official website and social networks of the Ministry of Defense, it is clear that our units attack only legitimate military targets,” Eyvazov added.
