“The funeral has taken place in silence with family and close friends,” says Müller’s obituary. Fredrikstad funeral home confirms to VG that it took place earlier this week.
The obituary – with a star at the top – is signed by son Max (33), daughter Iben (31) and the rest of the family. “Our dear father, brother, uncle and rock star Bjørn Magnus Müller died suddenly from us,” reads the text, which also reads: “Lived life to the fullest, but left us far too soon. We miss you.”
On Thursday, the Backstreet Girls shared the lyrics to the Tom Waits/Kathleen Brennan song “I Don’t Want to Grow Up,” which was also featured on The Ramones’ farewell album, on the band’s Facebook page. The band has also changed the color from black to green in all the images, without further explanation – which fans speculate about what it means.
Friday night passes the event “A Tribute to Bjørn Müller” from the lineup at the Brew pub in Oslo, where DJs will play his songs as well as tunes that the band inspired.
