They announce a new update at 8 o’clock on Friday morning, but passengers are advised to consider other means of travel.
The cause of the problems is a freight train that has derailed outside Vossevangen and is blocking the train line. It was Television 2 who first reported the incident.
Over the public address system on the train from Bergen, it was announced that the passengers were to be transported by bus to Ål, but since there were no buses to start, the night train turned around and drove back to Bergen.
On the train from Oslo, the passengers were picked up by a bus at Ål station which will take them to Voss. From there, they will probably have to take a local train to Bergen.
Vy informs NRK that no injuries have been reported following the derailment, which must have occurred at low speed.
