There are always some essential perks to take, like Juggernog, but most of the Perk-a-Colas in COD Zombies are up to player preference. However, these are the best perk loadouts that will focus on survivability and fun to ensure a high-round playthrough of some of the best maps.

This list will not contain the best perk loadout for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as there is no perk limit in that game, meaning players can purchase all perks and not just 4.

5 Best Perk Loadout For Call of Duty: World at War

Juggernog, Speed Cola, Double Tap, Quick Revive

world at war best perks

  • Juggernog – Increases health from 100 to 250 (Costs 2,500 Points)
  • Speed Cola – Cuts reload time in half, builds barriers 60% faster (3,000 Points)
  • Double Tap Root Beer – Increase rate of fire (2,000 Points)
  • Quick Revive – Revive players faster (1,500 Points)

Call of Duty: World at War only had four core perks across its DLC maps, and they all serve a great purpose. Firstly, there’s Juggernog, the perk that everyone needs to get regardless of skill level. Being able to tank more hits is essential. Then, there’s Speed Cola, which is great for heavier weapons to allow players to reload them in half the time, which further compliments Double Tap which has players shoot their weapons twice as fast. Lastly, is Quick Revive, a non-essential perk as it revives allies quicker, but monkey bombs and nuke power-ups can also help with that.

4 Best Perk Loadout For Call of Duty: Black Ops

Juggernog, PhD Flopper, Speed Cola, Double Tap

black ops best perks

  • Juggernog – Increases health from 100 to 250 (Costs 2,500 Points)
  • PhD Flopper – Immune to explosive and fall damage, explosive dolphin dive (2,000 Points)
  • Double Tap Root Beer – Increase rate of fire (2,000 Points)
  • Speed Cola – Cuts reload time in half, builds barriers 60% faster (3,000 Points)

Call of Duty: Black Ops had quite a growing selection of perks, but as usual, Juggernog is necessary so as to not die in 3 hits. Secondly, players can’t go wrong with PhD Flopper, a fan-favorite for Call of Duty: Black Ops due to the fact that players are now immune to explosive damage, which makes a run with a Ray Gun or a Pack-a-Punch starting pistol exceptional, as players can just fire at their feet with no consequences. To keep ammo firing faster, Double Tap Root Beer comes in clutch, and to reload faster, Speed Cola is a classic must-have, but to those who desire another gun, Mule Kick is a viable option, as is Stamin-Up for better sprint.

3 Best Perk Loadout For Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

Juggernog, Double Tap, Stamin-Up, Speed Cola

black ops 2 best perks

  • Juggernog – Increases health from 100 to 250 (Costs 2,500 Points)
  • Double Tap Root Beer 2 – Increases rate of fire, shoots two shots for the price of one (2,000 Points)
  • Stamin-Up – Increase sprint speed and duration, regenerate stamina faster (2,000 Points)
  • Speed Cola – Cuts reload time in half, builds barriers 60% faster (3,000 Points)

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 also had more experimental perks, but none of them went outside of the crutch perks that were seen with Juggernog and Double Tap, as the former allows for more health, and the latter allows for not only the increased rate of fire, but every shot fires two for the price of one. Since players are shooting more, Speed Cola is great for reloading quicker, and Stamin-Up is incredible for longer sprints across larger maps.

2 Best Perk Loadout For Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

Juggernog, Double Tap, Stamin-Up, Widow’s Wine

black ops 3 best perks

  • Juggernog – Increases health from 100 to 250 (Costs 2,500 Points)
  • Double Tap Root Beer 2 – Increases rate of fire, shoots two shots for the price of one (2,000 Points)
  • Stamin-Up – Increase sprint speed and duration, regenerate stamina faster (2,000 Points)
  • Widow’s Wine – Replace grenades with spiderwebs that slow zombies when hit, increase melee damage (4,000 Points)

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 continues the necessary trend of having Juggernog and Double Tap due to their defensive capabilities and high-damage output, but the game shakes things up just a tad with Widow’s Wine, a perk that replaces grenades with spiderwebs. These spiderwebs are used when hit to slow zombies in a web, which can act somewhat like an extra defense like the shield. Stamin-Up is also great on Black Ops 3 due to the engaging slide mechanics, and the fact that the maps are rather expansive, requiring quick movement to train around and avoid charging Margwas and Panzers.

1 Best Perk Loadout For Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

Victorius Tortoise, Dying Wish, Stamin-Up, Quick Revive

black ops 4 best perks

  • Victorius Tortoise – Shields block all damage from all directions when held, when it breaks an explosion triggers (2,500 Points)
  • Dying Wish – Enter Last Stand to go Berserk for 9 seconds to become invulnerable and increase melee damage, after, leaves the player with 1 health, and cooldown increases with every use (4,000 Points)
  • Stamin-Up – Increase sprint speed and duration, regenerate stamina faster (2,000 Points)
  • Quick Revive – Shorter delay for health regeneration and regeneration rate, revive players faster (500/1,500 Points)

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is where the series truly evolved from its roots, but not to the joy of many players. Black Ops 4 risked something new by removing the crutch perks seen in previous entries, so players no longer had access to the classics like Juggernog, Speed Cola, and Double Tap. Instead, they had to rely on new perks. However, these new perks did serve the player well, like Dying Wish, which is basically an extra life that allows players to survive with 1HP. There’s also Victrorius Tortoise, which has players become immune to damage while their shield is equipped. There’s of course the classic Stamin-Up, and even Quick Revive is back and better than ever thanks to its faster and better health regeneration.
