If the Chicago Bulls hope to have a successful 2024-25 after an offseason of change, they will need their players to stay dedicated and healthy.
A new report suggests they may be having problems with injuries again.
According to Bleacher Nation Bulls, Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic is reporting that Patrick Williams felt discomfort in his surgically repaired foot last month.
The player had to undergo additional tests to see what was going on and, right now, his path forward in 2024-25 is unclear.

The Bulls are big fans of Williams which is why they recently signed him to a five-year, $90 million contract extension.
Now everyone is left wondering if he will be ready to play at the start of the season and how athletic he’ll be.
Williams, who was drafted fourth in the 2020 NBA draft, last played on January 25.
He then fractured his left foot and required a season-ending surgery.
During his time with the Bulls, Williams has averaged 9.7 points and 4.2 rebounds, shooting 47% from the field and 41% from beyond the three-point line.
The Bulls’ upcoming training camp starts on October 1, so fans will get more information about Williams and his status by then.
Injuries are sadly nothing new for Chicago, who seem to have incredibly bad luck.
After losing DeMar DeRozan and Alex Caruso, the Bulls were looking for a transitional season that could see some stars get more responsibility and time on the court.
This could be a breakout year for Williams but if he isn’t healed, there is little chance of that happening.
