Colin Cowherd is never one to mince words, and fans just have to hope his ire never gets directed toward their favorite team.
In a recent episode of The Herd, Cowherd’s harsh words landed upon one NFL team that is off to an unspectacular start to the season, and Cowherd didn’t hesitate to call them losers.
On The Herd, Cowherd said “America loves winners. The Cowboys are kind of a loser…January and February is where winners play.”

Cowherd added that Cowboys fans don’t travel as well as San Francisco 49ers fans because they don’t win big road games and that the Kansas City Chiefs are America’s team now.
He also said “Dallas has not won multiple playoff games in a single year in 29 years…At some point, you can’t keep telling me this is America’s team…It’s not like they haven’t had a good coach. It’s not like they haven’t had good quarterback play…There’s no nostalgia in football, we don’t care what you did years ago.”
It’s tough to dispute the facts, and the Cowboys have had a ton of regular season success in recent years without finding a way to break the drought and reach the NFC Championship game.
Dallas is sitting at 1-2 with plenty of question marks after getting lit up in back-to-back games at home by the New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens.
The running game and the defense have left much to be desired, both of which were much better last season when the Cowboys went 12-5 and won the NFC East.
The Cowboys better figure it out, because this fanbase is growing restless after nearly 30 years of playoff failures.
