The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a brutal 44-19 home loss to the New Orleans Saints.

At practice this week, the team did get some good news with Pro Bowl tight end Jake Ferguson.

After Ferguson injured his knee in Week One against the Cleveland Browns, he missed the game against the Saints.

However, according to insider Todd Archer, Ferguson practiced Wednesday.

“Jake Ferguson (knee) did everything during open portion of practice,” Archer recently posted on social media.

Ferguson made the Pro Bowl in just his second season in Dallas in 2023 after recording 71 receptions for 761 yards and five touchdowns.

Outside of All-Pro wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and No. 2 wide receiver Brandin Cooks, Ferguson is a clear top option for Pro Bowl quarterback Dak Prescott and head coach Mike McCarthy.

If the former Wisconsin Badger can return this week, it would be massive news for the offense.

The Cowboys are set to face the surprisingly 0-2 Baltimore Ravens this week in what could be seen as a must-win matchup on both sides of the ball.

After last week’s poor performance against New Orleans, the Cowboys need a bounce-back performance.

For Baltimore, they have lost two close games to the Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders.

They could easily be 2-0.

It would be an absolute stunner if they fell to 0-3, so they are going to be fired up to play this week.

Getting Ferguson back in the lineup this week could be a big boost for the Cowboys.
