The Las Vegas Raiders shocked many people by coming back from behind to beat the Baltimore Ravens.

They hadn’t won a game in which they entered the fourth quarter trailing by two digits in years, and it was a testament to Antonio Pierce’s coaching and stout defense.

More than that, Brock Bowers also made a big impact in the passing game.

The rookie tight end out of Georgia was on a roll in the entire game, hauling in nine receptions for 98 yards.

When asked about him, Davante Adams gushed about his talent and skills as a pass-catcher.

In fact, he told Kay Adams and Rob Gronkowski that he actually reminded him a little of Gronk (via Up & Adams).

Gronk claimed to be a big fan of Bowers since his days in college.

And while he thinks he’s not as physical as he was in the trenches, he believes he could surpass some of his numbers as a pass-catcher.

Gronk also pointed out the fact that Bowers’ 15 receptions are the most ever by a rookie tight end in his first two games, so he’s clearly off to a great start to his career.

The Raiders entered the season with one of the worst QB situations in the league, at least on paper, so some thought Bowers would have a tough time finding his groove right out of the gate.

That clearly hasn’t been the case thus far, and it seems like the Raiders have found a true star in the making.
