When you play in the NFL for a decade-and-a-half, at some point you are bound to play for a great coach or two.
Former Pro Bowl wide receiver and punt returner DeSean Jackson played for some quality head coaches during his long career.
One of those head coaches was Sean McVay of the Los Angeles Rams, and Jackson believes he is the best current coach in the league outside of Andy Reid.
“I’m going to go Sean McVay…He’s a young, talented coach. He’s doing the best he can with his talent right now,” Jackson said recently on Up & Adams.
Who does @DeSeanJackson10 think is the BEST HEAD COACH (excluding his guy Andy Reid) in the NFL?? 🤔@heykayadams pic.twitter.com/VApLoYZsU0

Of course, Jackson started his great career in the NFL with Andy Reid and the Eagles after being drafted out of California in the second round back in 2008.
But Jackson did have a stint with McVay and the Rams during their Super Bowl season in 2021.
He played in seven games that year catching eight passes for 221 yards and a touchdown before requesting a release.
In fact, he was actually awarded a Super Bowl ring for being on that team during the regular season before they went on to win it all.
So, he knows all about McVay and how good of a coach he is.
This year, the Rams’ head coach might be up against it.
Legendary defensive tackle Aaron Donald is now retired and both Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua are dealing with significant injuries.
If the Rams were to somehow make the playoffs this year, it might be the 38-year-old’s best coaching job.
