Changes are coming to Downtown Disney as officials continue to work on revamping the outdoor shopping and dining destination.
Porto’s Bakery’s seventh location, slated to open in 2025 in Downtown Disney, will host the company’s first sit-down table service and a full bar. The Anaheim theme park also shared opening dates and more details about the Avengers-themed retail locations, restaurants, and more coming to Downtown Disney.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Avengers Reserve: A new shopping location featuring collectibles, apparel, accessories, toys and comics themed to fan-favorite characters and storylines will open to guests on Dec. 6.
At the entrance, guests will be greeted by a 9-foot Incredible Hulk sculpture smashing through the wall. Spider-Man can also be spotted atop the building.
- D-Lander Shop: This boutique, which will open on Dec. 6, will celebrate trend-forward fashions for Disneyland fans and offer a stylish collection of apparel, accessories, and jewelry. The store will also have a Pandora Jewelry Shop and apparel from Kate Spade, Dooney & Bourke and more.
- Disney Wonderful World of Sweets: Marceline’s Confectionery is being reimagined and expanded into the Disney Wonderful World of Sweets.
The shop’s interior will “be whimsical and colorful with dimensional murals of this delectable new world, and exhibition kitchens will be viewable from the promenade and inside the shop,” according to the Disney Parks Blog.
The shop, home to fan-favorite treats and sweets like churro toffee and caramel apples, will open this winter.
- Porto’s Bakery: A Southern California staple known for its Cuban delicacies and baked goods, Porto’s Bakery will open its seventh location at Downtown Disney in 2025. The new location will offer the company’s first sit-down table service and a full bar. Disney teased that more details will be shared at a later date.
- Steakhouse and BBQ Restaurants: Disney shared the names of the steakhouse restaurant and barbecue eatery slated to take over the former location of Tortilla Jo’s. Disney is working with Michelin-starred Chef Joe Isidori to bring the restaurants to life.
Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon will be a full-service steakhouse offering prime cuts of beef, chops, fresh seafood, sandwiches, and more.
The adjacent barbecue spot, Pearl’s Roadside BBQ, will be a quick-service restaurant offering pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked wings, and more. Guests will also have access to an outdoor bar.
- Parkside Market: The new food hall, home to three new eateries, will open this winter.
The new location will be home to:
- Seoul Sister, a fast-casual modern eatery that will serve a “Korean-forward” menu based on Korean rice bowls
- Sip & Sonder, an eatery that will have lattes, fresh treats, frozen drinks and Caribbean-inspired bites
- GG’s Chicken Shop will serve chicken sandwiches, salads and classic dinner table sides
The new building will also have a second-story bar offering “great views of the district” and serving craft cocktails, mocktails and appetizers, the Disney Parks Blog previously announced.
Lastly, the Lego Store will soon reopen with an updated interior. New sculptures for the store’s exterior are also in the works. The store has been closed since October as renovations continue.
