Even as the Dodgers celebrate the team’s eighth World Series title, the mind naturally wanders to what comes next.
For at least one possible offseason departure, the desire is to stay in L.A.
Pitcher Jack Flaherty is a free agent, but he made clear on Friday that’s he’d love to be back in Dodger blue next season.
“This is unbelievable. I love this city. I never want to leave. I never want to leave,” said Flaherty, a Burbank native who attended Harvard-Westlake School, in a video posted to X, formerly Twitter.
It’s unclear if the Dodgers are similarly inclined to re-sign Flaherty, but that’s a decision for another day.
Friday was focused on celebrating Flaherty and the other Boys in Blue.
