KTLA 5 News helicopter Sky5 is providing live aerial coverage of the Dodgers Championship parade and rally in downtown Los Angeles.
The parade begins at 11 a.m. on Spring Street in front of City Hall, travels down Spring Street to 1st Street, to Grand Avenue to 5th Street, and ends at Flower Street. It will be followed by a rally involving players, team management and fans at Dodger Stadium.
The Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees in five games, clinching the title with a 7-6 victory in the Bronx on Wednesday night. It was the franchise’s eighth World Series title, dating back to its days in Brooklyn.
A portion of the proceeds from the Dodger Stadium event, which is sold out, will be donated to the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation.
