Verrett has rejected these accusations.
Se og Hør editor Ulf André Andersen confirms to the industry magazine The journalist that they have been contacted by Durek Verrett’s lawyer Geir Lippestad.
– We have received a message that they are going to take it further legally, and to PFU. It concerns the case from Tuesday. I will not comment further now, says the editor.
Opposite See and Hear confirms Lippestad that they believe the magazine’s publication may be punishable.
– That’s right. I am of the opinion that making such serious allegations about a person is punishable under section 267 of the Criminal Code, says the lawyer.
He also confirms that the matter will be reported to the Press’ Professional Committee (PFU).
