The New York Giants’ offensive struggles have become a focal point this season, with quarterback Daniel Jones’ performance raising concerns.

Jones has completed 59.6 percent of his passes for 600 yards and has recorded 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions with an 80.6 rating.

The meager 5.8 yards per attempt average further highlights the team’s offensive woes.

Adding to their challenges, the Giants’ ground game has been underwhelming, averaging just 3.4 yards per carry.

The departure of Saquon Barkley to the Eagles in free agency has left a noticeable void in the backfield.

In an effort to address these issues, the Giants are making roster adjustments as they approach Week 4.

Dan Salomone, the Giants’ senior managing director, reported three roster moves on Tuesday: Lawrence Cager was placed on the Practice Squad/Injured list, Joel Wilson was added to the Practice Squad, and Jakob Johnson was released from the TE/FB position.

To improve their offensive output in the 2024 season, the Giants need to focus on several key areas. Reducing turnovers is crucial, given Jones’ high interception rate.

Establishing a more effective running game is essential to balance the offense and take pressure off the passing attack.

Enhancing the offensive line’s performance will be vital for both protecting Jones and creating better opportunities for the run game.

The Giants should also aim to utilize their talented receivers, such as Jalin Hyatt and rookie Malik Nabers, more effectively to generate big plays.

Lastly, adopting a more aggressive play-calling strategy could help stretch defenses and create additional opportunities.

By addressing these areas, the Giants have the potential to significantly boost their offensive productivity and improve their chances of success this season.
