There is no doubt that the New York Knicks have a ton of talent and a lot of potential heading into 2024-25.

Still, there are concerns about them and what they can accomplish in the new season.

On the latest episode of his show, Gilbert Arenas said the team’s new big three should be Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Donte DiVincenzo.

That claim got some pushback from the rest of his co-hosts, who said the Knicks only went with that lineup in the postseason because there were so many injuries.

Arenas likes that trio but agreed that head coach Tom Thibodeau will actually have new challenges this season because everyone is healthy.

The Knicks had a great 2023-24 season but were plagued by several bad injuries that all occurred at inopportune times.

When the playoffs rolled around, a number of their biggest players were banged up and eager for a break.

That won’t be the case at the start of the season because everyone is healed, rested and ready to go.

So, will Thibodeau take advantage of that and change things up or stick with the same rotations he has used for some time?

No one can deny that Brunson, Hart, and DiVincenzo have great chemistry because they have known one another for years and are friends outside of the game.

But Thibodeau needs to learn some lessons from last season and give all players their fair share of time.

That will keep everyone healthier during the long season.
