Good for the boys, shame on the second half

Red Star captain Aleksandar Dragović congratulated his teammates on their fight in the match against Manchester City and added that the team showed a reaction after the championship defeat against Čukarički.

“I’m not happy that we lost, well done to the boys, we fought.” Too bad for the second half. That was a step for the better than when we lost against Čukaricki. Heads up, we’re getting ready for the derby,” Dragović told Radio Television of Serbia.

Dragović is aware of the quality of the European champion team.

“You can learn from them, you can see how you play against them. We all fought. Everyone gave us motivation, we have to be a team if we want success.

Erling Haaland did not score.

“It wasn’t the first time I played against him.” You could see how strong he is, it’s not easy against him. “He didn’t score a goal, that’s the most important thing for me, but if he had scored a goal and we won, it would have been better,” added the captain of the “red and whites”.

Finally, he reflected on what awaits his team next Wednesday.

“There is no relaxation, we are going even harder.” Today was a good game, against the best team, the best coach. Next is the “eternal derby”, to win for us and our fans”, concluded Dragović.
