How To Find All High-Suction Hero Bots & Puzzle Pieces in Astro Bot

Astro Bot‘s High-Suction Hero level isn’t one you’ll naturally find as you progress through the game, nor is it one of the many galaxies’ secret hidden levels. Instead, it’s a part of the Lost Galaxy world, meaning you’ll need to find a secret exit in another level to discover it.

Unlike the standard planets in the game, High-Suction Hero has only five bots to rescue (instead of seven) and two puzzle pieces (instead of three). While most of these are relatively easy to find, there are a couple that may slip by you if you’re not careful. Here are the locations of all bots and puzzle pieces in Astro Bot‘s High-Suction Hero level.

How To Find High-Suction Hero Lost Galaxy Level

High-Suction Hero is one of the many Lost Galaxy levels that players will need to seek out, as it won’t appear chronologically as part of the main story. Instead, players will need to complete the Djinny of the Lamp level, which is a planet in the Feather Cluster system.

After defeating the Djinny, players should venture to the back of the open area where they will find the ground lights up beneath their feet. Using the dog companion’s ability, jump and propel Astro to the invisible platforms that hover above the stone. You can use Astro’s double jump to reach the first one, but you’ll need to dog for the second one. Once on the platform, punch and jump on the magic carpet, then pull the rope under the disco ball to unlock the High-Suction Hero level.

High-Suction Hero Bot #1

The first bot in Astro Bot's High-Suction Hero

The first bot is basically impossible to miss, as it is hanging on the ledge as you ascend the rock wall. Players will encounter this one after acquiring the elephant companion and using its suction skill to create platforms. You’ll encounter a tall flower enemy that spawns enemies until you use a platform to jump up and knock it out. As soon as the flower is dealt with, create a platform over the geyser and use the steam to move up the rock wall. Once you’re at the top, jump, craft another platform, then jump again and save the bot.

Shortly after rescuing the first bot, players will encounter a second and much taller flower enemy that they will need to get rid of. Once it is handled, two geysers will appear to carry Astro up to the next part of the level, but the one closest to the wall won’t take him high enough at first. Create a platform over the geyser on the left to redirect the pressure to the back one, then craft a platform over it and make your way to the top. As soon as you’ve landed on the top, just before you jump on the trampoline, jump and create a platform, then do it again, and you’ll find the first puzzle piece.

High-Suction Hero Bot #2

The second bot in Astro Bot's High-Suction Hero

The second bot in the High-Suction Hero level is the first of the VIP bots that are inspired by popular PlayStation franchises, with this one being made in the likeness of the iconic Killzone series. The bot is kidnapped by a UFO, so players will need to defeat the enemies, release the mechanism another UFO has taken hostage, and use the bouncy platforms from your elephant companion to make your way to the top. Once at the top, use another bouncy platform (you may need to resupply by breaking the cube on the left) to attack the UFO and release the bot.

Players will progress quite a bit further before encountering the second and final puzzle piece in High-Suction Hero, which is a part of a rotating rock, so can be relatively easy to miss. As players use the ice ramps to navigate through the level and ice skate on the platforms, they will come to a red platform that had fluids for concrete, bouncy, and ice platforms that the elephant can make. At this point you can choose to go left or right – for the puzzle piece you will need to go right.

Use the yellow fluid to bounce to the top of the first platform, ensuring you dodge the attacks from the ice enemy. You’ll land on a rotating satellite type device, from which you will want to acquire the concrete fluid. Wait for the puzzle piece to appear on the bottom half of the rock, then jump towards it and create a concrete platform to grab the puzzle piece, before jumping onto the rock.

High-Suction Hero Bot #3

The third bot in Astro Bot's High-Suction Hero

There are actually two ways to acquire the third High-Suction Hero bot, it just depends on which direction you go from the starting platform with the three fluid options. If you go left, you’ll need to defeat the first enemy, then use the bouncing pads (yellow fluid) to leap to the top of the satellite and rescue the second Killzone bot. If, however, you followed the previous instructions to get the puzzle piece, you’ll approach the bot from the back.

After getting to the other side via the rotating rock, players will need to beat the bowl enemy and collect the concrete from it. From there, it’s a simple matter of conjuring a concrete platform to reach the first satellite, then you can jump and create two more concrete platforms to reach the bot.

High-Suction Hero Bot #4

The fourth bot in Astro Bot's High-Suction Hero

The fourth bot is probably the easiest to miss, as he is not in a particularly obvious place, if you’re not looking hard enough. To find it, walk under the rocket ship towards the end of the level, and look at the thrusters – you’ll see the bot’s head sticking out in a panic. Simply jump and press Square to free it from its tricky predicament.

High-Suction Hero Bot #5

The final bot in Astro Bot's High-Suction Hero

The final bot is, much like the first one, relatively difficult to miss, as it is right there as you progress through the level. Before climbing up the side of the rocket ship, take note that there is a photo opportunity in the back right area of the launch pad. As you use concrete and bouncy pads ascend alongside the ship, you’ll encounter the next bot at the top of the bouncy pad climb, standing above a multicolored arrow pointing to the left.
