  • Athletics: Neeraj Chopra finished second in the Diamond League final.

  • Chess Olympiad 2024: India (W) beat Switzerland, while India (M) beat Hungary B as both teams remained unbeaten in the competition.

  • ISL: Odisha FC were beaten at home for the first time in over a year as Chennaiyin FC pulled off a superb comeback to win 3-2.

  • ISL: Bengaluru FC relied on a first-half goal from 19-year-old Vinith Venkatesh to beat East Bengal FC at home.
