Japan.. Capabilities to increase renewable energy production to 80%

Japan could increase the share of renewable energy in electricity generation to 80 percent by 2035 by using battery storage and boosting regional cooperation on power grids, a study by the Tokyo-based Renewable Energy Institute said.
