The Utah Jazz is a team that will try to find a strong identity in 2024-25, wishing to build a roster around Lauri Markkanen.

Tony Jones is reporting the Jazz are expected to sign small forward Keshawn Justice to an Exhibit 10 contract.
Justice has previously played for the SLC Stars in the G League and has participated in a number of Summer League games for Utah, meaning the organization knows him well.

During his last season with the Stars, Justice averaged 8.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.
Those are the sort of numbers the Jazz look for in a backup player, but there is no guarantee he will get time on the court during the upcoming season.
An Exhibit 10 contract is non-guaranteed for a minimum salary.
More importantly, it doesn’t add to a team’s cap space unless the player makes the cut and becomes part of the official roster at the start of the season.
Additionally, it can be converted into a two-way deal, which would split Justice’s time between the NBA and the G League.
The Jazz currently have 20 players signed to their training camp and the league limit is 21.
If Justice does well, he could get a two-way contract and may have a chance of showing up during the regular season.
The Jazz have a lot of decisions to make and are looking to be impressed, so Justice needs to leave it all on the court during training camp.
