Counting On alum Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo’s family is getting bigger.
The couple announced on Tuesday, October 15, that Duggar, 30, is pregnant with their third baby. “We’re super excited,” she shared in an interview with People, noting that she’s happy to not be pregnant during the summertime.
She added: “I’m actually all about it. Especially in the heat the past few days, I think I’m not super big pregnant and so I’m not having to worry about the extra heat. I’m like, ‘Oh man, this is going to be such an awesome thing to go through pregnancy, not in the summer.’”
Vuolo, 37, revealed that although the pregnancy “was something we were expecting,” he was “literally speechless” when Duggar broke the news to him.

“She got me good. It was on Felicity’s birthday. Jinger says, ‘I’ve got a gift for you.’ It was in an Amazon bag,” he shared. “So I’m thinking, ‘What did she get from Amazon for me?’ Then I open it up and it’s the positive result, and I’m actually speechless.”
The duo, who wed in 2016, shared the moment in a YouTube video uploaded on Tuesday. “Are you serious?” Vuolo asked his wife upon taking her positive pregnancy test out of a bag. The two celebrated with a sweet hug and kiss.
Before sharing their news with fans, Duggar and Vuolo first told their daughters — Felicity, 6, and Evangeline, 3 — that they were going to be big sisters during a family photo shoot. “We got Felicity and Evangeline each a denim jacket with the words, ‘BIG SIS’ on the back,” Duggar told People. “The photographer captured the sweet moment when they realized what those words meant.”
She continued: “Felicity started jumping up and down in excitement over the news. Evangeline wasn’t quite sure what to make of the news. But we are certain that once the baby arrives, she will be all about her new role as big sis.”
The couple’s YouTube announcement also featured clips of them sharing their baby news with family. Jinger told her mom, Michelle Duggar, and a few of her siblings around the time of her sister Jana Duggar’s bachelorette party. She also had an ultrasound done while home in Arkansas for Jana’s August wedding to Stephen Wissmann.

In the YouTube clip, Jinger noted that she was around eight weeks pregnant at the time and signed up for a blood test to find out the baby’s gender.
Vuolo told People that they are “curious to be the parents of a little boy,” but would be glad to welcome a third baby girl. “We’re happy either way!” Jinger added.
As for whether they plan on expanding their brood even more in the future, Jinger said, “We’ll see. … I mean, I felt like I was set with two, but I don’t know. Three was kind of what we had always said was a really good number. So, three or four. I don’t know. But I think three is what I’m leaning towards right now.”
