Just some months ago, Kyrie Irving was playing the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals.
Now, he’s in Xiamen, China, as a part of his Asian tour with Anta.
The Dallas Mavericks point guard signed a deal with the Chinese brand after Nike dropped him, and he’s a very popular player in that market.
That was evident in a clip shared by Kyrie Center on X.

The former No. 1 pick was just casually walking shirtless on the streets of Xiamen, all while a multitude of Chinese fans chanted his name.
Kyrie Irving has usually been very approachable by fans, but he won’t hesitate to get in someone’s face when they try to get under his skin.
Irving is coming off a solid campaign, but he wasn’t at his best in the NBA Finals, particularly at the TD Garden, where he looked distracted and tried to do way too much.
The start of the upcoming season is still weeks away, and the Mavericks are expected to be a powerhouse in the Western Conference again.
Klay Thompson’s addition gives them another legitimate threat from beyond the arc, which was a major issue vs. the Celtics, so they could be even scarier, especially if the former Golden State Warriors star is able to turn back the clock.
In the meantime, Irving will continue to enjoy life and spend some time with his fans in Asia while he gets ready to play.
