A bus driver for the LA Metro was hospitalized after being shot near a bus stop on Saturday, according to authorities.
Responding to an act that the Metro called “domestic violence,” officers arrived to the area nearby the bus stop on Hollywood Boulevard and Vermont Avenue at about 7:24 a.m. after reports of a shooting.
There was no suspect at the scene, police said.
The victim, a woman employed by LA Metro, was transported to a local hospital with “serious injuries,” the Metro said.
No additional details, including an update on her status or a description of the suspect, were immediately made available.
