LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is still playing his heart out even as he reaches 40 years old, but there is no doubt he is nearing retirement.

James hasn’t revealed plans for his post-NBA life but he’s still young so he could do a lot of things.

Speaking to GoJo and Golic, per Legion Hoops, James talked about possibly starting a broadcasting career after he hangs up his jersey.

James said “I don’t know” when asked about contributing to television.

“I definitely love the sport. It would be great. I see Tom Brady doing it, and he’s been great so far. And, you know, we will see, even if it’s just a guest appearance, you know, one game or two when I’m done playing,” James said.

He went on, adding, “But it’s always fun to give back to the game because the game has given me so much. So, if it’s basketball, if it’s football, if it’s whatever, I love the word ‘sport,’ because it’s given so much to me and my family. And it’s only right that I give back to it.”

If James was open to the idea of broadcasting, plenty of networks would throw millions of dollars at him.

Even after he retires, he will still be one of the largest names in the world of sports, and his input and opinions will be greatly valued.

But James has several avenues he can go down once he retires.

He has publicly said he’d love to be the co-owner of an NBA expansion team and has also produced and starred in films.

He has plenty of options and ways that he could spend his time.

No matter what happens, we will definitely see James again after he retires.

Whether it be in a broadcasting capacity or because he owns a team, James isn’t going away.
