Malik Nabers is making waves in the NFL, and he’s only getting started.
The New York Giants’ sixth overall pick in the 2024 draft is proving why he was one of the most coveted wide receiver prospects coming out of college.
Nabers’ final season at LSU was nothing short of spectacular.
Averaging a staggering 120.7 receiving yards per game, he racked up 89 receptions for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns.
It’s no wonder the Giants were eager to snag him, and boy, has he lived up to the hype.
Just three games into his NFL career, Nabers is already rewriting the record books.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter recently pointed out a jaw-dropping stat: Nabers is the first player in NFL history to notch at least 20 receptions and three touchdown catches in his first three career games.
But, there’s more. His 23 receptions tie him with Anquan Boldin’s 2003 performance for the second-most catches by a player in their first three NFL games.

Only Puka Nacua’s 30 receptions last season top this feat.
As if that weren’t enough, Nabers has claimed another record.
At just 21 years and 56 days old, he became the youngest wide receiver in NFL history to snag two touchdown receptions in a single game, edging out Mike Evans’ previous record set on November 2, 2014.
Moreover, the Giants have wasted no time in making Nabers the centerpiece of their offense.
He’s consistently delivered, averaging over 12 targets per game and posting at least 60 receiving yards in each of his first three professional outings.
Nabers’ rapid rise is definitely turning heads across the league.
If his early performances are any indication, we might be witnessing the birth of the NFL’s next elite receiver.
