With Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love recovering from the MCL sprain he suffered in Week 1 of this season, backup Malik Willis has been tasked with keeping the team afloat in the meantime.
He was efficient, if not prolific, in Week 2 as the Packers managed to defeat the Indianapolis Colts 16-10.
This Sunday, they will visit the Tennessee Titans, the team Willis played for the last two seasons, and when asked if he feels he has something to prove against his old team, he said he doesn’t care.

As a rookie in 2022, Willis played in eight games and started three of them, but he completed just 50.8 percent of his pass attempts and didn’t throw a single touchdown pass in 61 attempts.
In fact, he only threw the first touchdown pass of his career on Sunday.
With him completing 12 of 14 pass attempts, Green Bay was able to get out to a 13-0 lead in the third quarter and withstood a late push by Indianapolis to get their first win of the season.
Many had high hopes for them this season, and some were even pegging them as legitimate Super Bowl contenders, but Love’s injury has cast some doubt on those lofty expectations.
He has returned to practice, albeit as a limited participant, and there is therefore at least an outside chance that he will return to action this weekend in Nashville.
The Packers will then return home and host the surprising 2-0 Minnesota Vikings in an important division game the following Sunday.
