A man is facing multiple charges in connection with a triple stabbing in Glendale on Sunday, authorities say.
In a news release, the Glendale Police Department said that Vahe Gyurjinyan, 18, was arrested on Tuesday and identified as the primary suspect responsible for stabbing three other men.
On Sunday night, officers responded to reports of multiple stabbings in the area of San Rafael Avenue and Dryden Street, where it was determined a fight broke out after a road rage incident.
The three victims were seriously, but not fatally injured, police said. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect, now identified as Gyurjinyan, initially fled the scene, but the Glendale resident was later identified and arrested.
He’s now in custody, police said. He’s facing multiple charges, including attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
An additional suspect, a juvenile, was also arrested on suspicion of robbery-related charges stemming from the incident. No additional details were immediately available in regards to that arrest. It’s not yet clear if he will face formal charges.
