The start of the 2024 NFL season has not gone according to plan for the Dallas Cowboys.
They entered the year with a lot of confidence, hoping they could build from the mistakes they made last year.
After losing in the first round of the playoffs despite being a top offense in the league, this team knew they had to make a lot of changes.
They did look good in their Week 1 blowout of the Cleveland Browns, but they got dismantled by the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.
Fans and analysts have looked at this team’s two performances, trying to determine what has gone wrong for them.
Marcus Spears gave his opinion on the situation in a recent appearance on NFL Live.

CeeDee Lamb is the best playmaker on offense for the Cowboys and is generally viewed as one of the best wide receivers in football.
Good things happen when he gets the ball in his hands.
But, with only nine catches in two weeks, Lamb’s ability to truly affect this team’s chances of winning has been stifled.
In Spears’ mind, getting Lamb the football is the best way for the Cowboys to get back on track, especially against an opponent like the Baltimore Ravens.
If they aren’t able to feed him the rock, it could result in a suboptimal performance from the offense, which they can’t afford to do against the Ravens.
