This week Marius Borg, the son of Princess Mette-Maritbecame the center of controversy again after admitting that although he did attack his girlfriend, he did not commit physical or psychological abuse with his previous partners.
Let us remember that at the beginning of last August, the young man was arrested for 30 hours after attacking a woman who turned out to be his girlfriend. According to what Borg himself reported, he was under the influence of alcohol when the events occurred. It even gave the young woman a concussion that took her to the hospital.

According to Norwegian channel TV2, “Marius Borg Høiby has already finished the interrogations. In total he has gone through eight police interrogations, in which all the accusations have been explained thoroughly and in detail.”
And it was just within these investigations that Prince Haakon’s stepson did accept his guilt in the August episode in which he attacked his girlfriend, but denied the attacks of which his ex-girlfriends accuse him, Nora Haukland and Juliane Snekestted.
“Borg Hoiby He has acknowledged three turbulent relationships, in which he obviously assumes his share of responsibility, but has mentioned having been a victim of abuse by at least one of the women involved. In the cases of Haukland and Snekkestad he does not plead guilty,” according to the aforementioned media.
After these statements, the lawyer of one of the ex-partners reversed himself in the face of Marius’ denial. “He had had a brief conversation with Julianne, and even though she expected him to plead guilty, she is not surprised that he tried to turn things around,” he said.
On the other hand, the young man’s lawyer, Øyvind Bratlien, revealed that while the next trial is taking place his Marius will dedicate himself to treating his problems with the drugs. “Now that the interrogations are over, he will soon enter full-time rehabilitation,” he said.
What will happen to Marius Borg?
Now, after completing the preliminary interrogations, we will have to wait for the Norwegian justice system to set the trial date so that we can reach the end of the case, which has a high priority for the authorities.
