Matthew Perry's L.A. house sells for nearly $9 million: report

The Pacific Palisades property that “Friends” star Matthew Perry lived, and eventually died in, has reportedly been sold.

According to the Los Angeles Times, his 3,500-square-foot house sold for $8.55 million. He purchased the home for $6 million in 2020.

Scottsdale, Ariz. based movie producer and real-estate developer Anita Verma-Lallian bought the property to use as a vacation home, The Times reported.

Perry died on the property on Oct. 28 of last year. Coroners ruled that the television star’s primary cause of death was ketamine, with a secondary cause of drowning. He was found by his assistant in a jacuzzi in the home’s backyard.

The live-in assistant, two doctors and two alleged drug dealers — including the “Ketamine Queen” — face charges in relation to Perry’s death. One of the doctors pleaded guilty earlier this month.

U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada said that “the doctors preyed on Perry’s history of addiction in the final months of his life last year to provide him with ketamine in amounts they knew were dangerous.”
