Following the Dallas Cowboys’ difficult loss to the Baltimore Ravens, CeeDee Lamb’s absence from the postgame media sessions raised eyebrows.

The wide receiver had a challenging game, fumbling in the red zone and visibly expressing frustration on the sideline.

Lamb finally faced the media and addressed his meltdown with candor.

He took full responsibility for his actions, describing them as “very detrimental” to the team, and openly acknowledged his belief that he let his teammates down.

This accountability impressed Cowboys legend and current FOX Sports analyst Michael Irvin.

“I thank the lord for that right there. … I love what he said right there, he took accountability. I told you guys I felt he was frustrated in that game and he talked about it,” Irvin said on “Speak.”

The three-time Super Bowl champion emphasized the importance of the moment, noting that while Dallas possesses talented players with impressive skill sets, their lengthy playoff struggles often stem from a lack of collective will.

Lamb’s willingness to take responsibility has given Irvin hope for improved team cohesion.

“I’m glad to hear him say, ‘Man! We gotta get this back on track, we have messed this up,’” Irvin said.

As the Cowboys prepare for their Week 4 meeting against the New York Giants, the pressure to rebound is evident.

With a crucial NFC East rivalry game on tap, the team’s focus on improvement is clear.

To succeed, Dallas needs to reinvigorate its running game, which has been a key factor in previous victories.

Additionally, quarterback Dak Prescott must concentrate on finishing drives with touchdowns rather than field goals and avoiding turnovers.

The Cowboys have recently dominated the Giants, winning their past six encounters and 12 of the past 13.

If Dallas can capitalize on its strengths and address its weaknesses, it stands a strong chance of getting its season back on track.
