The wedding festivities of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have begun, two months after the celebrity couple got engaged. The Made in Heaven actress took to social media to share several photos from her pre-wedding ceremony. The bride-to-be wore a green and pink silk saree which she styled with a golden blouse. She tied her hair in a bun and adorned it with gajras. In the first photo, she can be seen with a plate full of raw turmeric to be used for the rituals. In the second photo, the actress can be seen grinding the turmeric. In another picture, she is seen partaking in the rituals as the Pandit ji blesses her. Sobhita also shared photos with her friends and family members.
Godhuma means wheat, Raayi means rock, pasupu means turmeric and danchatam means grinding. So it essentially means crushing wheat, rock and turmeric together.
On the work front, Sobhita was last seen in Love, Sitara. Chaitanya, on the other hand, was seen in Custody. He will next be seen in Thandel.
