The Boston Celtics sat down for the press on Tuesday and spoke about their plans to dominate the NBA again in 2024-25.
They know they have many challenges in their way but they also believe they can win back-to-back championships.
According to Chris Forsberg, via NBC Sports Boston, the vibe with the Celtics is confident but they also understand they have “something to accomplish.”
“They know there’s a chance here to do something special,” Forsberg said.

They have done it once, but can they do it again?
The Celtics aren’t content with only having one title, they want to win another.
Forsberg said they know they can do that and have belief in the system and style of head coach Joe Mazzulla.
The talent is there, and the belief is there, but will the success follow?
Winning two consecutive championships is very difficult, for a number of reasons.
Firstly, many teams just don’t have the stamina to stay at such a high level for two seasons.
Secondly, every other franchise in the league is now aiming to take the Celtics down.
Their conference has gotten harder and nothing will be easy in 2024-25.
But this commentary from Forsberg proves the Celtics have a strong belief in themselves, which is obviously very important.
“The buy-in level over there is out of control,” Forsberg said, meaning everyone on the team is all-in and fully committed.
They are in a great position to start the season strongly and prove to everyone that their championship run wasn’t a fluke.
