The Israeli army (IDF) issued evacuation orders in Beirut ahead of the attacks, which hit two southern suburbs of the capital on Sunday afternoon, Lebanese state media reported.
– Israeli warplanes carried out two violent attacks against Beirut’s special suburbs in the Kafaat area, says a message from the Lebanese NNA.
The attack comes on the same day that the Hezbollah militia fired 150 rockets at central and northern Israel, including Tel Aviv. In just a few minutes, 30 rockets were aimed at the coastal city of Haifa and the western Galileo region, some of which were shot down, according to the IDF.
Several people have been reported injured after the attacks in Israel on Sunday. The attacks there came one day after Israeli airstrikes in Beirut killed at least 20 people.
