The New Orleans Saints have been on an absolute tear to start the season.

Dennis Allen’s team didn’t find much trouble getting past Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers in the season opener, and they kept the momentum going by blowing out the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington in Week 2.

Derek Carr is leading the league in passer rating and has five touchdown passes against just one interception, and Alvin Kamara is looking like the second coming of Barry Sanders.

Their defense has bullied its opposition at the line of scrimmage, and they’ve played mistake-free football for the most part.

Nonetheless, Detroit Lions star WR Amon-Ra St. Brown still isn’t that impressed by the Saints.

Talking to his brother, Equanimeous, on their podcast, he claimed that they just caught the Cowboys on one of their bad days.

St. Brown stated that the Cowboys usually alternate great games with bad ones, and that game just happened to be one of the bad ones.

Needless to say, his brother wasn’t having it, stating that it was crazy to see him discrediting the Cowboys after winning so many games with that roster over the years.

Truth be told, he might have a valid point, as the Cowboys have been fairly inconsistent and a tale of two teams, and it’s not like the Saints beating the Panthers was that impressive.

Then again, there’s no reason to think this start to the season is a fluke, and we should give flowers where they’re due.
