The channel writes that they have seen the list of speakers and that Norway is not listed.
Earlier, UN Secretary-General António Guterres stated that only those countries that have credible plans for restructuring their fossil industries will be allowed to speak.
In the invitation it was stated that only 50 countries will be allowed to participate, “if they have something concrete to contribute”, wrote NRK earlier this week. Earlier on Tuesday, Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre (Ap) said that it was a shame that Norway did not get speaking time.
– After all, Norway is now carrying out measures on climate policy that will take us over in the renewable sector and that will get climate financing up and running, said Støre.
According to the list of speakers, Denmark and Iceland, among others, will be allowed to give speeches.
