Who will be the next Adrian Wojnarowski?

The entire NBA world has been asking that question since Wojnarowski announced his surprising retirement from sports media on Wednesday morning.

ESPN will need someone to break the biggest NBA news and fill the airwaves with hot scoops.

According to Bovada, per NBACentral, insider Shams Charania has the best odds of taking over for Wojnarowski.

He has -150 odds, while Chris Haynes is behind him with +200, followed by Tim Bontemps with +650, Jake Fischer with +800, and Marc Stein with +1200.

There is no doubt that ESPN is working hard behind the scenes to sign one of these men, so when will they announce a deal?

Charania following Wojnarowski makes a lot of sense because he has been a knowledgeable, committed, and trusted insider for years.

In fact, many NBA fans saw Charania as Wojnarowski’s biggest competition in the world of breaking NBA news.

However, everyone on this list could be a great fit for ESPN.

The network might sign one of these reporters very soon, especially since the NBA season is now just a month away.

They want their new insider to be well-adjusted and comfortable with the company as the new year kicks off and long before the trade deadline in February.

Inside reports say ESPN was caught off guard by Wojnarowski’s announcement so they are scrambling to forge a plan and move forward.

Will they go with Charania, Haynes, or one of the other men on this list?
