WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — One person has potentially critical injuries after a shooting Sunday evening.
The call came in at 6:15 p.m. of a shooting in the 1600 block of S. Hydraulic, which is near Linwood Elementary School and Linwood Park.
About 15 minutes later, as police were investigating the shooting, an officer in trouble call came from the 2100 block of S. Pattie. It lasted only a couple of minutes.
Sedgwick County dispatchers said the call was related to the shooting incident. Dispatchers said a suspect was in custody.
