Oregon quarterback Bo Nix teams up with The Shoe Surgeon, 7-Eleven for cleat auction

Oregon quarterback Bo Nix is teaming up with designer The Shoe Surgeon to create custom cleats that will be auctioned for PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene.

Nix is among nine college football players partnering with 7-Eleven on the deal, which will benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in the respective communities.

Starting Thursday 7-Eleven will reveal the cleat designed by Nix via its Instagram page and bidding will begin at 5 a.m. PT Friday at CleatCrew.7Collection.com and remain open until Sep.t 27 at 5:00 p.m. PT.

“I’m grateful to be able to support PeaceHealth Sacred Heart and give back to the community here in Eugene,” Nix said in a release. “I can’t wait for fans to see what I’ve been cooking up with The Shoe Surgeon. I think we’ve come up with a design that honors the cause in a unique way.”

Other players taking part in the effort are Colorado’s Travis Hunter, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, USC receiver Dorian Singer, Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison, Jr., Florida running back Trevor Etienne, Boston College linebacker Kam Arnold, Penn State Nick Singleton and Michigan running back Blake Corum.
