The raids targeted several areas in the Tyre region, while the strikes in the south coincided with “intensive raids on the Bekaa region” on the border with Syria in eastern Lebanon.
A source close to Hezbollah told AFP that the raids “targeted several sites in the western and eastern mountain ranges of Lebanon, reaching the Hermel region.”
The raids on the outskirts of the town of Boudai in the Bekaa led to the death of a civilian, a shepherd, and the injury of two members of his family, according to the National News Agency, which reported that four other people were injured and transferred to hospitals in the region.
AFP correspondents reported that the sound of the raids was heard in several areas.
Coinciding with these developments, the Lebanese received text messages and phone calls from the Israeli side urging them to stay away from Hezbollah sites.
Some residents of the southern regions reported that anonymous messages reached their mobile phones, stating: “If you are in a building that contains Hezbollah weapons, stay away from the village until further notice.”

“We advise civilians in Lebanese villages located in or near buildings and areas used by Hezbollah for military purposes, such as those used to store weapons, to immediately move away from the danger zone for their own safety,” Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said in a press briefing.
The spokesman stressed that the army will launch more “intensive and precise raids against terrorist targets that have been widely planted throughout Lebanon.”
Hagari’s statements came shortly after the army announced that it was “currently attacking Hezbollah terrorist targets in Lebanon.”
Hagari confirmed that Israel will continue to launch raids “in the near future.”
Israel and Hezbollah have been exchanging cross-border fire since October, in an escalation that began the day after the outbreak of war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
However, the conflict between the two parties has escalated significantly in recent days, after Israel confirmed that it had transferred its military “weight” from the south, where the Gaza Strip is located, to the northern front with Lebanon to secure the return of its residents, tens of thousands of whom have been displaced for months due to the exchange of shelling with Hezbollah, which is supported by Tehran.
Hezbollah has been hit by a series of strikes in recent days, including the bombing of thousands of its communications devices on Tuesday and Wednesday in an operation attributed to Israel, an airstrike near Beirut targeting a meeting of its elite forces that killed about 50 people, including two prominent military commanders and a number of their comrades, and intensive Israeli airstrikes on targets in southern Lebanon over the weekend.
The party announced targeting military industries complexes and an Israeli base near the city of Haifa in northern Israel, in operations in which it confirmed that it used the longest-range missiles since the beginning of the current conflict between it and the Hebrew state.
