Some residents of the southern regions reported that anonymous messages reached their mobile phones, stating: “If you are in a building that contains Hezbollah weapons, stay away from the village until further notice.”

“We advise civilians in Lebanese villages located in or near buildings and areas used by Hezbollah for military purposes, such as those used to store weapons, to immediately move away from the danger zone for their own safety,” Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said in a press briefing.

The spokesman stressed that the army will launch more “intensive and precise raids against terrorist targets that have been widely planted throughout Lebanon.”

Hagari’s statements came shortly after the army announced that it was “currently attacking Hezbollah terrorist targets in Lebanon.”

Hagari confirmed that Israel will continue to launch raids “in the near future.”
