Offensive coordinator Todd Monken recently addressed the media, offering a candid assessment of the team’s performance.
“What do we want our identity to be? A team that executes at a high level, doesn’t shoot itself in the foot with penalties and execution,” Monken stated, as reported by ESPN’s Jamison Hensley.
Rather than singling out specific players or positions, Monken took a collective approach to the critique, acknowledging his own role in the team’s struggles.

He emphasized that the Ravens’ issues stem not from facing superior opponents, but from their own inability to find their rhythm offensively.
“We’re headed to find that. And we had a couple of great days of mojo and that’s our job to do it and move forward. We’re certainly more than capable of it because we’ve seen it. Now we just got to put it all together,” Monken added, expressing confidence in the team’s potential.
The Ravens’ difficulties have been particularly apparent in crucial moments.
Against the Chiefs, a potential game-tying touchdown was nullified due to a receiver stepping out of bounds.
In the Raiders game, Baltimore squandered a promising position to secure victory.
To climb out of this early-season hole and remain competitive in the challenging AFC North, the Ravens must address their inconsistent offense and shore up their pass defense.
While Monken’s optimism is encouraging, the team now faces the task of translating that positivity into tangible results on the field.
