Law enforcement are on the scene where a possible homemade bomb was found in Chatsworth Thursday morning.
The California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the De Soto Avenue on-ramp of the 118 Freeway around 11 a.m. after receiving reports of a suspicious device.
Both on- and off-ramps were closed by law enforcement and Sky5 captured video of the device, which appeared to be a possible pipe bomb on the side of the roadway.
There was no timeline for when the De Soto Avenue ramps would reopen but the public was urged to avoid the area for an extended period of time.
