Boban Marjanovic of the Houston Rockets is one of the biggest and most beloved players in the NBA and has become a fan favorite for multiple teams during his nine seasons.
But it looks like it’s the end of the road for Marjanovic in the NBA.
Courtside Buzz is reporting that Marjanovic will return to the EuroLeague this year after signing a new contract with the team Fenerbahce in Turkey.
According to the reporting, Marjanovic and his agent are working on a one-year deal with the Turkish team that may include an opt-out clause that could allow him to return to the NBA later this season if a team wants him.
Last season, Marjanovic averaged 3.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game for the Rockets.

Before his two seasons with the Rockets, Marjanovic played for the San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Dallas Mavericks.
The seven-foot-four big man never got a ton of minutes during games and his massive size was sometimes a detriment.
Being the biggest person on the court wasn’t always a benefit and defensive schemes often didn’t have a place for Marjanovic, who was slower than nearly everyone else.
He has a career average of just 8.7 minutes per game.
Still, even when he wasn’t playing a lot, Marjanovic made friends with his teammates and was always cheered for.
He also made a few lucrative endorsement deals and appeared in commercials and TV shows.
This deal with Fenerbahce will allow Marjanovic, who was born in Serbia, to return to Europe.
But it leaves the door open for him to come back to the NBA, although that doesn’t seem very likely right now.
