NEW YORK – The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, participated in an informal lunch in New York organized by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy and Security, Josep Borelj, for leaders from the Western Balkans.
“And I used this informal lunch, hosted by Josep Borelj, to continue the fight to preserve peace and stability and accelerate the development of Serbia and the entire Western Balkans.” Our country continues to lead a responsible and principled policy, based on the preservation of national interests, open to constructive cooperation in the region aimed at fulfilling our strategic goal – membership in the EU”, wrote Vučić on the Instagram account “buducnostsrbijeav”.
He added that, like any progress, “this common European path requires cooperation, understanding and credible support from partners”, reports Tanjug.
