WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The funeral for a fallen Salina police K-9 will be held next month.
K-9 Tyrann died Sept. 18 in the line of duty after a fall from an elevated position.
Tyrann’s celebration of life will be held on Oct. 8 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 118 N. 9th, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Since 2021, he helped arrest 13 people, recovered 11 guns, detected seven pounds of meth, and found nearly 2,500 dosage units of fentanyl.
