Shaquille O’Neal has made no secret of his dislike of Rudy Gobert.

The NBA legend has repeatedly made comments about the Minnesota Timberwolves star and has questioned his drive and skills.

On the latest episode of his show, per Playmaker, O’Neal urged Udonis Haslem to reveal what would happen if Gobert were on a team with the four-time champion.

Haslem said O’Neal would “probably put them hands on him.”

The idea of O’Neal and Gobert battling it out in the locker room sounds frightening and like it would be a massive mess.

But it’s also not surprising considering O’Neal has long had issues with how hard Gobert plays and the way he interacts with teammates.

Throughout his historic career, O’Neal was always pushing himself and others to put 100% into every game.

Haslem confirmed that, saying his time with O’Neal was inspiring because it felt good to know that such a legend believed in him.

O’Neal didn’t put up with people who didn’t try hard and didn’t respect one another.

It’ll be interesting to see if this draws a response from Gobert.

O’Neal is clearly not afraid of sharing his negative opinion about the Timberwolves star and will do it again and again in the seasons ahead.

Although he criticizes Gobert, the Minnesota star is still doing quite well.

Just last season, he won his fourth Defensive Player of the Year trophy and his Timberwolves had a strong run in the playoffs.

Apparently, the things O’Neal says don’t have an impact on him.
