The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 cycle is coming to a close as attention turns towards the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Despite the cycle entering its final stages, Sledgehammer Games continues to add a wealth of fresh content including free battle passes to entice players back to the virtual battlefield.

MW3 Rewind Event Start Date
The Modern Warfare 3 MW3 Rewind event takes place from October 9 and runs until October 16. When the event is live, players have one week to collect all the rewards on offer. A Call of Duty blog reveals players will ‘take a walk down memory lane’ suggesting there’s a chance items from previous seasonal updates will make a return.
Activision also reveals will complete a variety of challenges in order to obtain the rewards up for grabs.
MW3 Rewind Event Rewards
The chances of the MW3 Rewind event following a similar formula to other events that have taken place within Call of Duty throughout the Modern Warfare 3 cycle. To obtain rewards, players must complete set objectives that typically involve scoring kills with a specific weapon category or completing tasks in a particular game mode.

The MW3 Rewind event is the fifth and final event taking place within Modern Warfare 3. Sledgehammer Games hasn’t revealed if there are plans for Warzone to feature in this event, so it’s safe to assume it’s exclusive to multiplayer and zombies.
