A man accused of breaking into a gun store in Bend and stealing a rifle with a gun silencer was found in a homeless camp with the stolen firearm in his backpack, according to a federal affidavit.
When police went to arrest him, he swallowed 10 fentanyl pills, and as he was being driven by ambulance to a hospital, he attempted to jump out of the ambulance, according to a federal affidavit.
